Dogs nails usually need trimmed every 4 weeks. Dogs that are regularly exercised usually wear their nails down naturally but should still be checked monthly.

Did you know that all dogs do not necessarily wear their nails down the same? A lot of times some nails only need the tips trimmed while others need more nail taken off. We trim nails right at the quick making sure not to make your dog bleed. Bleeding nails equal pain. Our goal is to make nail trimming a pleasant experiencing, fast, friendly and pain free! If a dog has excessively long nails, we will not simply chop the nails off to make them shorter or the length they should be. Instead we will ask that our customers come back in two weeks to gradually trim down your dog's nails to prevent hitting a long quick.

Our mission is to keep your dog comfortable and stress free during his grooming experience. We only take a few dogs per day to minimize rushing through grooming and pushing the dogs through at a fast pace. We take our time and will even give dogs a break to potty or walk around for a few minutes.

Older dogs can be difficult to groom as it can be stressful on them. We take it slow and if your pooch is more comfortable lying on the grooming table why we groom him, that is perfectly fine. Our grooming assistant will help hold him when we finally need to groom his legs or under his belly. Whatever is most comfortable for him will mean less stress on his old body.

Your dog will get a break outside to go potty and we provide water, treats and love! We will call you withing a few hours as soon as your dog is done so you can pick him up and take him home.

Your dog does not have to stay here all day, however, if you work or need to run errands, we will care for him until you arrive to pick him up.
