The Animal Nanny - Professional Pet Care Services: Overnight Dog Camp Grand Junction

The Animal Nanny Overnight Dog Camp is a free roaming, quiet atomsphere located in Grand Junction, Co and servicing Fruita and Mack. Dogs that will be staying with us overnight get to participate in all day Doggy Day Care activities up until bedtime. We have a large dog park with wood chips as the flooring, the area is 75% shaded by large trees, there is a hilliside, and dog pools for a splashing good time.

We have 2 seperate groups where each group has a Care Staff person so that your dog gets plenty of attention and love.

The Active Dog Group for active young dogs that like to get up and run, wrestle, and have high energy.

Little Dog, Mellow, Older Dog Group for the dogs that have a low or moderate energy level.

The Animal Nanny Overnight Dog Camp and Doggy Day Care is a social atmosphere where dogs get to mingle and play. Dogs are pack animals and thrive on each others company which also makes their stay here with us less stressful and more Fun! They have each other to play and socialize with and are not confined to cages or runs. Our dog park is very long so Ball Chuckers come in very handy for those 'ball playing enthusiasts!" We have 3 trained and experienced people on staff that are trained in dog behavior to monitor your pet's safety as well as love on them and play ball or toss a stuffed animal to them.

Our indoor dog park is climate-controlled and has a special Astroturf as the floor. This Astroturf is especially made for dog day cares and dog parks and is antimicrobial, easy to clean and keep sanitary.

Our newly added outdoor obstacle course gives your dog added fun and enrichment. The obstacle course offers a fantastic opportunity for the dogs that are in our Overnight Dog Camp to use their brains and get lots of exercise. The activity will give your own pooch a happy grin and you will bring home a more relaxed family friend, which allows you to unwind from your day or trip.

We have an indoor cozy dog suite that your pets will stay in if they will be staying with us overnight. We play light classical music which we keep on, and low light to keep your pooch comfortable. We offer an 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM potty breaks before bedtime so your beloved pet does not have to 'hold it' from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM the next morning; because of this, we rarely have to clean cages in the morning because a dog has urinated or defficated. We are up and outside by 7:00 AM each morning and ready for another fun day of Doggy Day Care! and Overnight Dog Camp!

Your special doggy friend becomes part of our family here at The Animal Nanny's Overnight Dog Camp and can be included in our dog walking times, upon your consent. For more information about our Grand Junction location and details about the services we provide, please feel free to contact us.

The Animal Nanny does take special needs dogs. The little Beagle pictured below is Lollipop and she has no lower jaw; because of her handicap, her tongue hangs out of her mouth all the time. Lollipop was part of the little dog, older dog group and was hand fed wet food twice a day like a mother bird feeding her baby bird.

Bring only enough food for you pets boarding stay. Food must be brought in an air tight, plastic shoe box size container labeled with your dog's name and amount to be fed. (see image at right)

Please only supply the amount of food your dog will need for his stay with us.

Please bring your dog's bed or blanket and a stuffed animal or a favorite toy.

We supply the treats but you are welcome to bring your own.

We are happy to give medications and supplements for an extra $2 per day per dog.

Flexible for Pick-ups, let us know so we can have your dog and belongings ready to go.

Located in North Grand Junction, near I-70 and the 24 Road exits.
We welcome you to come out and visit our facility! Please call us at 241-1277 to schedule your tour time. Tours are M-F 5:45 PM. It takes about 10 minutes and we ask you leave your dog at home.
